My Story
Hello I’m Charlotte!
I’m an illustrator and textile designer based in the charming town of Godalming, Surrey. My work is all about celebrating the joy and connection that food and drink bring into our lives. With a love for bold, vibrant colours, I embrace the idea that "you eat with your eyes"creating designs that are as visually appetising as they are inspiring. I’m particularly drawn to illustrating fresh produce, capturing the warmth and authenticity of homegrown ingredients in each piece. Whether through textiles or illustrations, my goal is to bring a little more beauty and joy into your everyday.
Inspiration
In my work, I love to use colour in an organic, almost instinctive way letting the natural vibrancy of the ingredients shine through. Whether it’s the rich reds of ripe tomatoes or the deep greens of fresh herbs, I focus on amplifying the tones that make food feel alive. A lot of my inspiration comes from European palettes, particularly Italian and Spanish influences, where food is not just a meal, but a celebration of life. My goal is to create illustrations that evoke the same warmth and connection as sitting down to a shared meal.
Experience
With extensive experience in textile design, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients across fashion, hospitality, and events, helping bring their visions to life through vibrant, bespoke designs. My work can be found in a variety of settings, from custom textiles for high street fashion brands to bespoke menu designs for events. I offer a range of services, including commissions and collaborations, and am always excited to explore new projects.
